This week, Natalie De Fazio, CEO of Pinnacle Live, and I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality Summit in Atlanta, proudly sponsored by Pinnacle Live. This inspiring event brought together a dynamic community of women executives, thought leaders, and innovators from across the travel and hospitality industry.

As first-time attendees and sponsors, we arrived with open minds and no expectations—and we were blown away. From the moment we stepped in, we were met with warmth, encouragement, and a shared sense of purpose. It quickly became clear that while we all face unique challenges, we’re united by a common mission: to elevate the customer experience and lead with purpose.

The energy throughout the summit was electric. Every conversation, panel, and breakout session was a reminder that we’re not alone in our journeys. We’re all striving to lead with integrity, drive innovation, and uplift others along the way.

What stood out most were the stories—powerful, personal accounts of women navigating career pivots, leading through global disruptions, and breaking barriers in spaces where few women had gone before. These moments weren’t just inspiring—they were affirming.

Here are a few reflections I’m taking with me:

  • Customer-first mindset: When we focus on truly understanding and meeting our customers’ needs—and then go a step beyond—we don’t just meet expectations, we exceed them.
  • Be the soil, not the ceiling: Growth happens when we nurture others. Let’s be the foundation that helps the next generation rise.
  • Lead with empathy: Deep listening and compassion are essential in industries built on human connection.
  • Mindset matters: Shifting from “I have to” to “I get to” transforms how we show up. I’m grateful for the work I do and the people I get to do it with.

As I reflect on our time in Atlanta, I’m leaving with more than just notes—I’m leaving with renewed purpose and fresh energy to bring back to Pinnacle Live. This summit was a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t a title—it’s a journey. And when women come together with intention and authenticity, we don’t just move forward—we light the way.
